ORDINANCE NO. 1060 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2026 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FEE SCHEDULE RELATED TO VACANT BUILDING REGISTRATION FEES AND RENTAL DWELLING LICENSE FEES THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends 2026 City of Mounds View Fee Schedule, by adding the underlined material and removing the deleted material. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Minnesota Law, the Mounds View City Charter, and Mounds View City Code, an amendment to the 2026 fee schedule for City services and licensing is hereby adopted after making the specified revisions shown below: Rental Dwelling (Title Xl, Chapter 119) Administrative Fee Multi-Famil Dwelling) $30 active license with no renters Single-FamilySingle-Farnily Dwelling 200 per year New Sin le-Famil Rental $100 200 per Vear plus conversion fee Duplex 1250 Per year Multi-Familv Rental $ e (0 300 plus $25 per Unit per vear Vacant Building Title IX Chapter 9i Vacant Building Registration, Residential 400 Per year Vacant Building Registration, Commercial 800 Per year Prolonged Vacancy Enforcement, Residential $1,000 per year (after 24 months, in addition to re istration Prolonned Vacancy Enforcement, Commercial $2,000 per year (after 60 months, in addition to re istration Administrative Registration (no response, city reoisters) $500 (in addition to registration) SECTION 3. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of this entire ordinance, as said summary would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect of the ordinance: On April 13, 2026, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1060 entitled "An Ordinance Amending the 2026 City of Mounds View Fee Schedule Related to Vacant Building Registration Fees and Rental Dwelling License Fees". A printed copy of the complete ordinance is available for inspection by any person during regular office hours at the office of the city administrator. A copy of the ordinance is also available online on the City's website at www.moundsviewmn.org.
