RESOLUTION NO. 10227 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN -KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />KRISTINA PRESSON, 8321 GREENWOOD DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Kristina Presson has made application for a chicken -keeping license, <br />submitted an approved site plan, and has paid the appropriate fees to keep and raise <br />chickens on her property located at 8321 Greenwood Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application, and it meets all requirements set <br />forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held April 13, <br />2026. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken -Keeping License for Kristina Presson, 8321 Greenwood Drive, <br />for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br />City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that this license will expire December 31, 2026, and <br />shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted on this 13t" day of April, 2026. <br />h Li rom, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Brian Beeman, Acting City Administrator <br />(Seal) <br />
