RESOLUTION NO. 10246 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN/DUCK-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br /> CALLY-ANN JACOBSON, 7338 SILVER LAKE ROAD <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br /> controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br /> Family Residential; and <br /> WHEREAS, Cally-Ann Jacobson has made application for a chicken/duck-keeping <br /> license, submitted an approved site plan, and has paid the appropriate fees to keep and <br /> raise chickens and/or ducks on her property located at 7883 Silver Lake Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application, and it meets all requirements set <br /> forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br /> considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held April 27, <br /> 2026. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br /> hereby approve a Chicken/Duck-Keeping License for Cally-Ann Jacobson, 7883 Silver <br /> Lake Road, for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br /> City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license would expire on December 31, 2026, <br /> and shall be renewed annually. <br /> Adopted on this 27' day of April, 2026. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (Seal) <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
