Resolution 10234, Authorization to purchase a 2026 John Deere 4075R <br /> 2 Tractor. <br /> 3 <br /> 4 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council authorize the <br /> 5 purchase of a 2026 John Deer 4075R Tractor. He reported this unit would be used for mowing, <br /> 6 herbicide application, ball field maintenance and snow removal. He explained the existing unit <br /> 7 was getting older and staff was having a difficult time finding replacement parts. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Council Member Smith inquired if the City's existing attachments would be compatible with the <br /> 10 new John Deere tractor.Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson indicated there were <br /> 11 some attachments that will work with the new unit. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 MOTION/SECOND: Clark/Smith. Resolution 10236,Approving Bolton and Menk Engineering Services to begin <br /> 19 the Street Design for the 2027 Street Rehabilitation Project. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the City approve Bolton&Menk <br /> 22 Engineering Services to begin the street design work for the 2027 Street Rehabilitation Project. He <br /> 23 reviewed the streets that would be rehabilitated,which included Mounds View Drive, Silver View <br /> 24 Drive and Edgewood Drive. He reported that staff sent out RFP's for this project and received <br /> 25 three responses. He noted staff met with the three firms and selected Bolton & Menk to perform <br /> 26 the engineering work for the 2027 Street Rehabilitation Project. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Mayor Lindstrom questioned what Stantec was paid for the City's last street project. Public <br /> 29 Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson anticipated Stantec was paid more for the last <br /> 30 project due to the size and scale of that project. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Cristina Mlejnek, Bolton & Menk, introduced herself to the Council and stated she was looking <br /> 33 forward to working with the City of Mounds View. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn.
