RESOLUTION 10242 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING 3 YEAR CONTRACT WITH GUARDIAN PEST SOLUTIONS FOR PEST <br />CONTROL AT CITY HALL, COMMUNITY CENTER AND PUBLIC WORKS FACILITIES <br />WHEREAS, the City contracts for pest control services for City Hall, Community Center, <br />and the Public Works facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, over the last several months Staff has noticed performance issues with the <br />contractor in not affectively eliminating some pests; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff reviewed the State Corporative Venture Program / State Bid to inquires if <br />other contractors we listed; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff received a bid from Gurdian Pest Solutions for the following facilities: <br />City Hall $779.88 yearly <br />Community Center $779.80 yearly <br />Public Works $1,169.76 yearly; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends the Council approve the attached resolution for a 3 year <br />contract with Guardian Pest Solutions for pest control services for City Hall, Community Center and <br />Public Works. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. That a 3-year contract be awarded to Guardian Pest Solutions. <br />2. Funding is from the following accounts; <br />Building and Grounds, 100-4360-3030, Community Center 252-4350-5110, Water <br />Department, 700-4823-3030. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this <br />resolution. <br />4.
