RESOLUTION NO. 10246 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CHICKEN/DUCK-KEEPING LICENSE FOR <br />CALLY-ANN JACOBSON, 7338 SILVER LAKE ROAD <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Code, Chapter 90.005, allows limited and <br />controlled raising and keeping of chickens and/or ducks on properties zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential; and <br />WHEREAS, Cally-Ann Jacobson has made application for a chicken/duck-keeping <br />license, submitted an approved site plan, and has paid the appropriate fees to keep and <br />raise chickens and/or ducks on her property located at 7883 Silver Lake Road; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the application, and it meets all requirements set <br />forth in Chapter 90.005; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 90.005, initial applications shall be <br />considered by the City Council after holding a public hearing, which was held April 27, <br />2026. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a Chicken/Duck-Keeping License for Cally-Ann Jacobson, 7883 Silver <br />Lake Road, for no more than 12 chickens or 12 ducks or a combination of both. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the license may be revoked or denied by the <br />City Council based on negligence, nuisance, or violation Chapter 90.005. <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the license would expire on December 31, 2026, <br />and shall be renewed annually. <br />Adopted on this 27th day of April, <br />ATTEST: <br />(Seal) <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
