2026 MVPD Quarter 1 Report <br /> Page 2 <br /> Goal C: ID other community outreach programs that are not so reliant upon the PD and <br /> its resources, utilize the Community Center & its programs or new resident security <br /> systems workshop/seminar, etc. <br /> 1 . Continued partnership with the Mounds View Police Foundation to include a bake <br /> sale at the Project Ardan Yard & Garden Expo at the MVCC <br /> 2. Partnered with the Mounds View Police Foundation for the 9th Annual <br /> Daddy/Daughter Dance <br /> 3. Officers participated in the Polar Plunge where we raised over $1,200 for Special <br /> Olympics MN <br /> 4. Chief Zender and DC Hellpap attended an outreach and security meeting with <br /> The North Church <br /> 5. Continued partnership with Ramsey County Attorney's Office with Collaborative <br /> Sexual Assault Reform, Juvenile Justice, and cooperation for DNA evidence <br /> collection for gun cases <br /> 6. Chief Zender and DC Hellpap attended the Ramsey County Sheriff Emergency <br /> Response Team (SERT) meeting as well as Ramsey County Emergency <br /> Management meetings. <br /> 7. NRO continuing to work on the apartment coalition program along with Roseville <br /> PD <br /> 8. NRO continuing to work with Northeast Youth and Family Services to provide <br /> mental health consulting and community support services <br /> 9. Chief Zender attended the NYFS board meetings <br /> 10.3 Officers were presented with the Life Saving Award and will be recognized at <br /> the statewide Minnesota Chiefs of Police Executive Training Institute (ETI) <br /> Conference in St. Cloud. <br /> 11 .Participated in discussions with Sen. Amy Klobuchar and the White House <br /> Border Czar Tom Homan concerning immigration enforcement and the impact on <br /> our community. <br /> Goal D: Expand on New Americans Academy, as well as ID & creating regular meetings <br /> with Neighborhood Captains Program <br /> 1 . Chief Zender is continuing to expand the Everbridge Emergency Notification Alert <br /> System and meeting with daycare providers, school partners, and clergy. <br /> 2. DC Hellpap has regular meetings with the school liaison and officials. <br /> Goal E: Speeding: Continue traffic enforcement as staffing commitments allow, <br /> especially around school bus stops. <br /> 1 . We have received 2 new solar speed signs that will be installed throughout the <br /> city when feasible. One permanent solar speed sign has already been installed. <br /> 2. 2 portable speed signs are being deployed throughout the city to problem speed <br /> areas. <br /> 3. Officers have participated in several DWI, speed enforcement, seat belt, and <br /> distracted driving details through the Ramsey County Traffic Safety Initiative <br /> (RCTSI). <br /> 4. School Resource Officer (SRO) and on-duty officers have followed school bus <br /> routes to proactively enforce stop arm violations. <br />
