Mounds View City Council April 13, 2026 <br />Regular Meeting Page 10 <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated the Community Support Center would be holding their luncheon <br />fundraiser on Thursday, April 30. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith explained on Saturday, April 4 the Mounds View Festival hosted an Easter <br />Egg Hunt, which was very well attended. She thanked Connie, all the seniors, volunteers and the <br />Public Works staff, for their assistance with this event. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith reported on Friday, April 10 she attended a Ramsey County League of <br />Local Government meeting where the group discussed local responses to evictions and rental <br />assistance. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith stated on Wednesday, April 15, she would be attending a Metro Cities <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she would be attending an aviation festival meeting at the Anoka <br />County Airport on Thursday, April 16. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith explained the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting next on <br />Tuesday, April 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works Facility. <br /> <br />Council Member Smith indicated she would be attending a St. Paul Autism Safety Forum on <br />Tuesday, April 21. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark noted the most recent edition of the Mounds View Matters was sent out <br />last week. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark stated she attended the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Commission <br />meeting on Thursday, March 26. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark reported Project Ardan would be participating in the Earth Day cleanup <br />event on Saturday, April 18 at City Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark explained registrations for youth summer sports was still open online. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark indicated the weekly food distributions were still being held at the <br />Community Center from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. She stated the City needed volunteers <br />to assist with these events. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom thanked all the volunteers that helped to make the Easter Egg Hunt possible. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he would be attending the Community Engagement Committee on <br />Thursday, April 16 at the Community Center at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom explained he would be attending a meeting with the school district on Monday, <br />April 20 to discuss potential future rentals at the Community Center. <br />
