RESOLUTION NO. 10259 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING THE HIRE OF TERRAN PANTELIS TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved recruitment for the position of Police Officer in <br />the Police Department; and, <br />WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of training and experience scoring, <br />oral interviews, physical agility testing, thorough background investigation, physical examination, <br />and psychological examination; and, <br />WHEREAS, a top candidate in the interview process was Terran Pantelis; and, <br />WHEREAS, staff of the Police Department has met with Terran Pantelis, and the Chief of <br />Police recommends that Terran Pantelis be appointed to the position of Police Officer; and, <br />WHEREAS, staff requests to begin employment of Terran Pantelis at a starting wage of <br />75% top patrol rate. <br />2026 <br />Starting Wage <br />75% of Top Patrol Rate <br />After 12 Months <br />80% of Top Patrol Rate <br />After 24 Months <br />90% of Top Patrol Rate <br />After 36 Months <br />100% of Top Patrol Rate <br />$38.24 <br />$40.79 <br />$45.89 <br />$50.99 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby: <br />• Appoint Terran Pantelis to the position of Police Officer <br />• Starting date to be June 15, 2026 <br />• Wage at the 75% top patrol rate of pay ($38.24/hour) as indicated in the Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services contract <br />Adopted this 8th day of June, 2026. <br />r astrom, mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zik r <br />d, r-in'[strator <br />(seal) <br />
