RESOLUTION 10278 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING VARIOUS SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE REPAIRS <br />WHEREAS, during regular cleaning and inspection of the sanitary sewer system, Staff <br />discovered several cracked manholes that are allowing infiltration/ ground water to enter the <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff determined that the best method for the necessary repairs is to grout, <br />seal and line the manholes; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff contacted two contractors to provide a quote to facilitate the repairs: <br />• Thul Specialty Contracting Inc. (5 manholes) $ 28,338.00 <br />• Innovating High Performance Coatings (5 manholes) $ 35,550.00 <br />WHEREAS, the funding for these repairs is budgeted in the Sanitary Sewer fund, 730- <br />4823-7050, which includes $ 30,000.00 for the sewer manhole lining. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. The Council hereby approves the quote from Thul Specialty Contracting for repairs to <br />five City sanitary sewer manholes. <br />2. Funding will be from the Sanitary Sewer Budget, 730-4823-7050. <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br />4.
