EDA RESOLUTION NO. 95-EDA29
RESOLUTION APPROVING ACTION STEPS IN RESPONSE TO THE NORTH
METRO BUSINESS RETENTION AND DEVELOPMENT SURVEY
WHEREAS, throughout 1994, Mounds View participated in the North Metro Business
Retention and Development Program, and
WHEREAS, over 100 Mounds View businesses participated in a two part survey process
that included ala page written questionnaire and a personal interview, and
WHEREAS, all immediate issues that resulted from the survey were addressed by the
Mounds View Economic Development Coordinator, and
WHEREAS, aggregate results of the survey were reviewed by members of the Economic
Development Commission, and
WHEREAS, twelve action steps were developed and approved by the Economic
Development Commission in response to the overall results of the survey as outlined in
Attachment A, and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority is committed to fostering a positive
economic climate for the City of Mounds View, and
WHEREAS, the implementation of the action steps would be in the best economic
interest of the City of Mounds View.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Economic Development
Authority hereby approves the action steps in response to the North Metro Business
Retention and Development Survey per attachment A.
Adopted by the Economic Development Authority of the City of Mounds View this
12th day of June, 1995.
