MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
ST ATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority, Mounds View,
Minnesota ("Authority") is a public body corporate and politic organized and operating under
Minnesota law, as amended, and is authorized to sell real estate in the mmmer provided by law;
and
WHEREAS. the Authority finds it desirable to sell the real estate described in Exhibit A
attached hereto known as the Bel-Rae Ballroom site ('"Subject Property") for the purpose of
promoting the health, safety and welfare of the residents of the City of Mounds View, Minnesota
("City"); and
WHEREAS, the City has offered to purchase the Subject Property from the Authority for
the sum of $1.00 pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.64.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the Mounds View
Economic Development Authority, as follows:

The Commissioners hereby find that the sale of the Subject Property to be
suitable, necessary and reasonable and for a public purpose to serve the needs of
the citizens and property owners ofthe City.
Authority staff are hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary steps to
convey the Subject Property to the City for $1.00 by quitclaim deed, including.
without limitation, the preparation and execution of all appropriate documents.
Adopted by the Mounds View Economic Development Authority, Mounds View,
Minnesota this 23rd day of September, 1996.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF SUBJECT PROPERTY
Lots nineteen (19), twenty (20), twenty-one (21) and twenty-two (22), and that part of Lot
sixteen (16) lying north of a line drawn between the southeasterly corner of Lot nineteen (19) and
the southwesterly comer of Lot four (4), except the East sixty-six (E.66) feet of said Lot sixteen
(16), all in Block five (5), Pinewood Terrace No.2, according to the plat thereoffiled of record
in the office of the Registrar of Titles within and for Ramsey County.
Together with all easements appm1enant thereto, all gaps, overlays, and gores contained therein,
and all streets and alleys, vacated or to be vacated, which may accrue thereto upon vacation.

politic under the laws of Minnesota, Grantor, hereby conveys and quitclaims to the City of Mounds View, Grantee(s), a
municipality organized under the laws of Minnesota, real property in Ramsey County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Lots nineteen (19), twenty (20), twenty-one (21) and twenty-two (22), and that part of Lot sixteen (16) lying north of a
line drawn between the southeasterly comer of Lot nineteen (19) and the southwesterly comer of Lot four (4), except the
