STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO NSP FOR UTILITY AND AUTHORIZING
THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION
EASEMENT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Ramsey County has completed improvements to the Ardan Park
Compost Site; and
WHEREAS, lights were installed as part of the improvements to the Ardan Park
Compost Site; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) is the owner of the
property located at 8283 Long Lake Road and legally described at Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT
MEADOWS; and
. WHEREAS, Ramsey County is requesting that the EDA grant a 10 foot wide
electrical utility easement across Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS to implement lighting at
the Ardan Park Compost Site described as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS; thence
northwesterly to a point on the north line of said Lot 3 and 22.77 feet West of the
northeast corner of said lot 3 and there terminating.
WHEREAS, the agreement will include a clause that requires NSP to move said
easement upon the subdivision of Lot 14, Block 3, LAPORT MEADOWS at no expense to the City
or EDA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority
of the City of Mounds View hereby approves the granting of an electrical utility easement to NSP
and authorizes the President and Executive Director to execute the agreement.
