MOUNDS VIEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BElWEEN THE MOUNDS VIEW
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE FRIDLEY HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (BRA) FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING
THE FRIDLEY HRA AS THE FISCAL AGENT FOR THE NORTH METO HOME AND
GARDEN FAIR
WHEREAS, The EDA approved expenditure of $2,500 of Tax Increment Funds (TIF) on
April 23, 1998 for the purposes of implementing a Home and Garden Fair to encourage the
improvement and redevelopment of housing within the City; and
WHEREAS, staffhas been working with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New Brighton to
develop the North Metro Home and Garden Fair for the spring of 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley lIRA has volunteered to act as the Fiscal Agent for the Fair; and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View EDA should enter into an agreement with the Fridley lIRA
for the purposes of securing fiscal responsibilities of City funds for the intended purpose of
promoting the North Metro Home and Garden Fair with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New
Brighton.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves
an Agreement between the Mounds View EDA and the Fridley lIRA for the purposes of promoting
the North Metro Home and Garden Fair with the cities of Blaine, Fridley and New Brighton with
the Fridley lIRA acting as the fiscal agent.
