Decertifying Tax Increment Financing District 4 in tbe City of I\'Iounds Vic\\'

'WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority created Tax Increment Financing
District 4, the "TIF District" in 1997; and
WHEREAS, certain property in the TIF District was originally but is no longer anticipated to be
subject to property taxation.
!'lOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View Economic Development
Authority:

That Tax Increment Financing District 4 shall be decertified on December 31, 1999,
for taxes payable 2000 and thereafter; and
Staff is hereby directed to take the steps necessary to decertify Tax Increment
Financing District No.4, including providing a written request to Ramsey County to
decertify the TIF District.
Passed and adopted by the Mounds View Economic Development Authority this 13th day of
December, 1999.

STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission acts as an advisory commission to
the Economic Development Authority on matters that relate to fostering a positive economic
climate, encouraging economic development, and enhancing the tax base of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Economic Development Commission is composed of three business
representatives and four residents; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 408.03, subdivision 1 of the Mounds View Code, entitled Economic
Development Commission, Composition, provides that Commission members shall be
"appointed by the Authority President with the approval of the Authority Board of
Commissioners", and
WHEREAS, the term for Commissioner Jerold Khan (business representative), expired
on December 31, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Gregory Belting has expressed a strong interest in serving on the
Economic Development Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Economic Development Authority of
the City of Mounds View hereby appoints Dr. Gregory Belting to the Economic Development
Commission for a three year term expiring December 31,2002.
