CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MANUFACTURED HOME PARK REVITALIZATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Economic Development Authority (EDA) has recognized a
need to establish a Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program to reduce the social costs of
blight, improve the quality of life in Mounds View manufactured home parks, and enhance housing
opportunities available within the City; and
WHEREAS, there exists a need in the City of Mounds View to provide a program in which
deteriorating manufactured homes that have a blighting influence on the neighborhood and
community may be acquired for demolition or rehabilitated; and
WHEREAS, the program would be primarily funded through Community Development Block
Grant funds distributed by Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, projects in which CDBG funds are used are to provide safe and quality housing
for low and moderate income families; and
WHEREAS, the program descriptions attached as Exhibit A provide an overview of the
acquisition and rehabilitation components of the program.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View Economic Development
Authority hereby approves the Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program contingent upon
obtaining Community Development Block Grant Funding.
Adopted this 12th day of February, 2001.
