WI IEREAS. on Fcbruary 22. 1988. the City of Mounds Vicw City Council (thc "City) cstablished
Ta" Increment Financing District No. 3 (the "TIF District") within its Mounds Vicw Economic
Development Project and
WHEREAS. the Mounds Vicw Economic Development Authority (thc "EDA") IS thc
administrative authority for the TIF District: and
WIIEREAS. the TIF District. in part. included the following parccl numbers. which wcrc
prcviously certi ried in the TI F District (the "Parccls"):

WHEREAS. the EDA desircs by this rcsolution to causc thc climination of the Parcels th)]TI thc
TIF District thereby rcducing the sizc of the TIF District: and
WHEREAS. becausc the total current nct tax capacity of the parcels to be eliminated from the
TIF District equals or excecds the net tax capacity of the parcels in the TIF District's original nct tax
capacity. thc holding of a public hearing is not rcquired pursuant to Minnesota Statutes. Section 469.175.
Subd. 4:
NOW THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIO~ERS OF TIlE
EDA as follows:
I. Thc tax incremcnt financing plan ("TIF Plan") for thc TIF District is hereby moditied to
rcmove the Parccls ii'om the TIF District. clJcctive for taxcs payable in 2006.
2. Upon approval of a similar resolution by the City. staff are authorizcd and directcd to
attach a copy of this resolution to the TlF Plan for the TIF District in City files. file a copy of this
resolution with Ramsey County along with instructions to adjust the records fix the TIF District
accordingly. and file a copy of the resolution with thc Minnesota Commissioncr of Revenue and Office of
the Statc Auditor.
