ThiR ordinance shall be called the Minimum lloueinq Stancfard8 for 0'0'1e111ngs nnd Multiplo Dwellings and may be cited as ~he Housing Code. 93.05 Ocfinition~. -.-.-- (1) words used in the preserit tense include the futureJ words in the ~~sculine gender include the feminine and neuterl the singular number includes the plural and the plura~the singular. (2) Where terms at.-e not def ined in th is sect_ion and arc i defined in the Building Code or Zoning Code, they shall have th~ meanings ascribed to them in the Building Code or Zoning Code. (3) Where terms are not defined under the provisions of this ordinance or in the Building or Zoning COGe,t-hey shall have ascribdd to lh~m their ordinary accepted meanings and/or such as the context herein ma~ imply. No person shall occupy as owner-occupdnl or let to another for occupancy any dwelling unit for t~e purpose of living therein, or premises, which does not comply with the following requirements. (1) Sanitation. All exterior property areas shall be maintained-rn a clean and sani tary condition, free from any",' accumulation of rubbish or garbage. " (2) Grading and_ Drain~e. 1\11 premises shall be graded and maintained so as to prevent the accumulation of stagnant water on said premises, or within any building'or structure located thereon. ..:....f: ."
