Th~ Council af the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain:

SECTION I. Ch~pter 23.0~ shall read DS follows:

23,u2 PURPOSE
There shall be dHposited in said fund all cash
payments rec~ived by the City pursuant to the provisions
of Chapter 42.13 of this Code, as well as from any source
as provided by Federal, State or City laws, ardinances
or re.;Ju1atiop.s.
SECTION II. Chapter 23.03 Subdivision 1 shall read as follows:

Subdivision 1, Ch~pter 42.13 Payments. Such payments
shall only be used by the City for the acquisition of land
for parks, playgrounds, pu_iic open space or storm water
holding areas or ponds, development of existinq parks
and playground ~ites, public open s?acc and storm water
nolcJ.i.ny cti.'E.3.5 or r.;;cnds; c.~d <,!pht retit'emca:t in connection
with land previously acquired for such public purposes.

Chapter 42.13 deposits may not be transferred out
of the fund, except for the purposes enumerated in 23.03
Subdivision 1. Oth2r receipts may be transferred by the
council into the general fund for the purposes enumerated
in Chapter 23.03.
SECTION IV. Thi3 oidin~ncc shall take effect from and after
the date of its publication.
