SECTION T. Chapter 6.31 HOLIDAYS shall be amended by
revising Subdivision 1 to read as follows:

Subdivision 1. The following shall be legal
holidays f0r all regular full-time employees subject
to this chapter: New Year's Day, president's Day, Good
Friday, Memori~l Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus
Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
If Christmas Day, New Year's DoY, Independence Day, or
Veteran's Day falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday
.will be considered a holiday. If Christmas Day, New
Year's Day, Independence Day, or Veteran's Day falls
on a Sunday, the following Monday will be considered
a holiday. Employees shall observe the days herein desig-
nated as legal holidays and receive compensation as though
worked, but essential operations shall be m3intained by
such skeleton crews as the department head deems necessary.
An employee working on a holiday shall recei\Te his regular
pay in addition to the holiday compensation herein given,
unless he is receiving call-out payor weekend duty pay.
