CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW BY AMENDING
CHAPTER 40 ENTITLED, "ZONING"
The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby
ordain:
SECTION I. The following shall be added to Chapter
40.04:
Subdivision T. Satellite Dish Antennas. The instal-
lation of satellite dish antennas in R-l, R-2 and R-5,
Residential Districts, shall meet the following require-
ments:
(1) The maximum dish diameter shall be 12 feet.
(2) A dish with a diameter larger than 3 feet shall
not be installed on any structure, building,
garage, or accessory building; but shall be ground
mounted.
(3) A dish shall not be installed in a front yard or
side yard.
(4) The location of a dish shall satisfy building
setback requirements of City Code Chapter 40.05,
Subd. C, and solar sky space easement requirements
of City Code Chapter 40.04, Subd. D.
(5) The total height of the installation shall not
exceed 15 feet.
(6) A building permit is required prior to installa-
tion.
(7) The installation shall comply with Federal
Commication Commission regulations.
Subdivision U. Installation of Satellite Dish Antennas
in Other Zoning Districts shall meet the following require-
ments:
(1) The location of a dish shall satisfy building

(2) A building permit is required prior to

(3) The installation shall comply with Federal

SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect thirty
(30) days after the date of its publication.
