CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF
MOUNDS VIEW BY AMENDING CHAPTER 60 ENTITLED,
"BUILDING CODE AND LICENSE FEES"
The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain:
SECTION I. 60.01 STATE BUILDING CODE. Effective July 1, 1972, all
building within the Municipality shall be regulated by La','/s, 1971, Chapter 561. current
State Statutes as amended from time to time.
SECTION II. 60.02 ADOPTION OF MINNESOTA STATE BUILDING
CODE. There is hereby adopted by Mounds View for the purpose of providing
uniform standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare by
regulating and controlling design, construction, quality of materials, use and occupancy
of all buildings and structures, the Minnesota State Building Code, 1980 EditioB, as
amended from time to time.
. SECTION III. 60.03 LICENSES
Subdivision 2. Work Licensed.

(4) Gas Sllppliers Line Installer
(5) General Construction - Commercial Contractors and Those Residential
General Contractors Who Do Not Require A State License
(6) Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, or Refrigeration
(7) Hot '"Vater Heating

SECTION II. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date of its
publication.
