CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 72.08 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW MUNICIPAL
CODE AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW TO CONTINUE A
STREET LIGHTING UTILITY PROGRAM TO OPERATE, MAINTAIN AND IMPROVE
THE LIGHTING OF CITY STREETS.
The City Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain:
SECTION 1. Puroose. By Ordinance No. 497, the City Council enacted
a street lighting utility program for the purpose of operating, maintaining and
improving the street lighting in the City. The Ordinance contained a sunset provision
stating that it would automatically be terminated as of December 31, 1993 unless
extended by the City Council. The City Council deems that it is in the best interest
of the public to repeal the sunset provision.
