ORDINANCE NO. 646
CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 400, CHAPTER 405 OF THE MOUNDS VIEW
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 405.03, SUBD. 1 AS TO THE TERM OF
OFFICE FOR MEMBERS OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 405.03, Subd. 1 of the Mounds View Municipal Code relating to Parks
and Recreation terms of office is hereby amended by the addition of the bold and underlined
language as follows:
Subd.. 1.: Terms. Members of the Commission shall serve three (3) year
staggered terms, with terms expiring December 31 of each year. In order to establish
appropriate staggering of terms for the Commission Members, appointments to a
term of less than three (3) years are permissible. Both original and successive
appointees shall hold their offices until their successors are appointed and qualified.
SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective 30 days after its publication.
Read by the City Council ofthe City of Mounds View on this 13th day of December,
1999.
Read and passed by the City Council of the City of Mounds View this 10th day of
