AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING IN TilE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, AND PROVIDING
^ PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF.
The V~llage C')uncil .:;-f' the Village of MO~lOds View hereby
ordains:
Sectiori 1. Definitions.
a.
Driver.
Every person who drives or is in actual physical
control of a motor vehicle.
b. Motor vehicle. Every vehicle which is se~f propelled.
c. Ovmer. A person who holds a legal title of a vehicle'.

shall be prima facie evidence that said motor vehicle was at the time
of such violation controlled, operated and used by the owner ther~of.
d. Park, or stand or standing. 'The halting of a vehicle,
whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose
of and while actually engaged in the receiving or di3charging of
passengers.

Sccti0n 3. Any person, driver, or owner violating this
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall
be punished by a fine of not more thar. $3uO. 00 or by imprisonment in
the County Jailor County Workhouse for not mora than 90 days, or
both.
Section 4. Tilis ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its publication.
