Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 729ORDINANCE NO. 729 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE SETTING SANITARY SEWER RATES FOR SERVICE IN 2004 The City Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: SECTION I. The Mounds View City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to insure sufficient funding to cover operations in the Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund. SECTION II. The Finance Department shall quarterly prepare a bill based upon rates as established below for each property class and in accordance with existing Mounds View policies. The residential rates established are to provide sanitary sewer charges based upon a fixed service charge plus a usage charge based upon the amount of water metered during the winter quarter or actual usage from a later quarter if it is less than the winter quarter. In no case shall a variable rate be billed for less than three units. • SANITARY SEWER RATES effective for service on and after April 1, 2004 shall be set at: Residential rates Service Char a er residential a uivalent connection $21.58 er uarter Usa a char a based on metered water usa a $1.72 er 1,000 allons Commercial, Industrial, Public buildin , & Church rates Service Char a er residential equivalent connection $47.00 per quarter SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date of its publication, and shall be effective for billing for service provided from April 1, 2004 onward.
