AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MIJNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNDS VIEW
BY AMENDING SUBDIVISION 2b OF SECTION 603.06, ADDITIONAL
RESTRICTIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL HAULERS
THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Subd 2b(5) of Section 603.06 is hereby amended with additions underlined and
deletions struck through to read as follows:
~5) Collection of garbage and rubbish materials for single family residence shall be
restricted to "~'°a•~°~a°~~'~ ~•"' Thursdays only, except when Wedr3es Thursday
is a legal holiday. In the case of a holiday, the collection will occur the following
business day.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the date of its publication.
First reading by the City Council of the City of Mounds View on tlus 14th day of March, 2005
• Second reading and adoption by the City Council of the City of Mounds View on this 28th day of
March, 2005.

BY AMENDING CHAPTER 603,
GARBAGE AND RUBBISH
The City of Council of the City of
Mounds View hereby ordains:
SECTION 1. Subd 2b of Section 603.06
is hereby amended with additions

Residential Haulers: In addition to the
other requirements of 4his Chapter,
haulers servicing residences, mobile
home parks and multiple dwelNngs shall
comply. with tite following:
(1} Curbside recycling collection will tie
made available to all residential and
multiple dtveliirtg customers no later than
July 1, 1990. Such service shell include
alt et least bi-weekly collection of all '
recycltibie materials on the same day as
` gaibaf3e and 'rubbish. collection for
rasidertces.
(2) Collecton of garbage and rubbish
materials w1A be provided on 'a weekly
basis and recyclable materials will be
pripvided qn an at least t~-weekly basis,
but not necessarily on the same day. for
multiple dwellings and mobile Home
"parks.
(3) Collection service priced on the basis
of volume shah be provided. Ail btilings
shall be itemized so as to show what
individual charges are being levied.
(4) Each licensee shall separately
collect and. dispose of yard waste on a
regular basis for a minimum of eight (8)
weeks in the spring, commencing on April
1, and eight (6) weeks in the fall,,
commencing On September 15.
