The original maps, created in 1981, were inaccurate and no longer representative of current conditions. The new maps, along with the full and complete text of this ordinance, are on file at the office of the Clerk Administrator and are posted in their entirety on the City's website, located at www.ci.mounds- view. mn. u s/ords/775. htm. ~ ~ ~~~. ~~ Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk-Administrator • ORDINANCE NO. 780 • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ADOPTION OF NEW AND UPDATED "OFFICIAL WETLAND ZONING DISTRICT" MAPS NOW THEREFORE, WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View adopted Ordinance 318 in 1982 which established the creation of wetland zoning districts in the City of Mounds View; and, WHEREAS, Ordinance 318 also established the regulations pertaining to wetlands and wetland buffers originally codified as Chapter 48 and later recodified as Chapter 1010; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 1010 of the Mounds View City Code, amendments to the official wetland zoning district maps shall be effectuated by ordinance. THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The City of Mounds View Municipal Code Appendix D is hereby amended to include reference to the following Special Ordinance No. 780. Subd. 1. The City of Mounds View determined that a comprehensive update of the wetland zoning district maps was necessary and so authorized their preparation. Subd. 2. The resulting Wetland Zoning District maps dated November 8, 2006 and attached as Exhibit A to this ordinance shall hereby replace any and all previous versions of adopted wetland zoning maps and shall hereafter be identified as the Official Wetland Zoning District Maps for the City of Mounds View. SECTION 2. This ordinance is effective thirty days after its publication. First read and introduced by the City Council of the City of Mounds View this • 23rd day of October, 2006.
