STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JDI SIGNS 8~ GRAPHICS TO REPLACE THE PANELS
ON THE ELECTRONIC MESSAGE SIGN LOCATED AT CITY HALL
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a new City logo on April 13, 2009 as part of
the Mounds View Branding Project; and,
WHEREAS, at the June 8, 2009 EDA meeting, the EDA directed staff to request
quotes for implementation of the new City logo; and,
WHEREAS, about 21,600 cars a day travel past City Hall's electronic message sign
on County Highway 10 making it one of the most visible signs in Mounds View; and,
WHEREAS, City staff obtained three quotes to update the City Hall electronic
message sign with new panels to display the new City logo and to paint the remainder of
the sign to match the color of the new logo; and,
WHEREAS, JDI Signs & Graphics submitted the lowest cost bid to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE BE !T RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View Economic
Development Authority does hereby authorize JDI Signs & Graphics to Replace the Panels
on the Electronic Message Sign Located at City Hall at a price not to exceed $2,400.00.
