RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR
POLICE OFFICER KENNETH KOSS
WHEREAS, Officer Kenneth Koss has resigned from the Mounds View Police
Department effective October 26, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation is 20.02 hours; and
WHEREAS, the balance of unused compensatory time is 0.75; and
WHEREAS, Officer Koss' current rate of pay is $20.70 per hour; and
WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of vacation time will be 20.02 hours x
$20.70 = $414.41; and
WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of compensatory time will be 0.75
hours x $20.70 = $15.52
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council
approves aone-time payout of vacation and compensatory time not to exceed $429.93.
