CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF LUMBER FOR MAILBOX POSTS FOR THE
2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT -AREA B/C
WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council approved plans/specs and authorized
advertisement for the 2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project -Area B!C contract
at the February 8, 2010 meeting, and;
WHEREAS, as part of a street improvement project mailboxes will be installed
and mailbox posts will be constructed, and;
WHEREAS, Staff has received 4 quotes for lumber to construct the mailbox
posts, and;
WHEREAS, Lowe's of Blaine quoted an amount of $6,857.34, and;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does
hereby approve the purchase of mailboxes and the lumber to construct the necessary
mailbox posts from Lowe's of Blaine in the amount of $6,857.34 to be funded from
account number 410-4650-7050-312.
