STATE OF MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION CHANGING THE TITLE OF THE ASSISTANT CLERK -
ADMINISTRATOR TO ASSISTANT CITY ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS, on March 8, 2010, the City Council adopted Ordinance 841 which
revised the City Charter by replacing all instances of "Clerk-Administrator" with "City
Administrator"; and,
WHEREAS, on April 24, 2010, the City Council introduced the first reading of
Ordinance 844, an ordinance which would amend the City Code by replacing all instances
of "Clerk-Administrator" with "City Administrator"; and,
WHEREAS, also on April 24, 2010, the City Council deliberated over the title of the
Assistant Clerk-Administrator and whether it too should be amended to be consistent with
the City Administrator title.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council
approves changing the title of the Assistant Clerk-Administrator position to that of
"Assistant City Administrator" to become effective the same day Ordinance 844 becomes
effective.
