STATE OF MINNESOTA
AUTHORIZING BONESTROO TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE
DESIGN PHASE FOR AREA D OF THE 2010 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on October 22, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution 7176
establishing the Street and Utility Improvement Program (Program), which includes nine
Street and Utility Improvement Projects identified as Areas A through I; and
WHEREAS, on September 28, 2009 the City Council adopted Resolution 7504
authorizing preliminary surveying activities for Area D of the Program; and
WHEREAS, Area D of the Program is scheduled for construction during 2011;
and
WHEREAS, in cooperation with City staff, Bonestroo has prepared a letter
proposal outlining the various components for engineering services required to
complete the design phase for Area D of the Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The letter proposal dated July 8, 2010 submitted by Bonestroo to provide
engineering services for Area D of the Program is accepted by the City.
Compensation as outlined in the letter proposal will be on an hourly basis with
reimbursable expenses with a maximum fee amount of $234,000.
2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed, for and on
behalf of the City, to execute the letter proposal dated July 8, 2010 with Bonestroo.
Adopted this 12th day of July, 2010.
