At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View,
duly held on the 15th day June, 1959, the following ro.eolution was offered by
Sullivan, seconded by Christensen to-wit:
RESOLUTION HONORING CLARENCE LUDWIG
WHEREAS, at a meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Mounds View, and upon recommendation of the League of Minnesota Municipalities,
TfEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Council for
the Village of Mounds View recognizing that the success of the League of Minn-
esota Municipalities is due in a large part to the efforts of its Executive
Secretary Clarence Ludwig, and as an expression of their appreciation for the
many years of devoted service to the cause of strong independent municipal
government, the Council of the Village of Mounds View would like to express its
thanks and congratulations upon the well deserved retirement of Mr. Ludwig.
Upon the call of the roll the following members voted in favor of the
resolution: Smith, Christensen, Sullivan and Gibson.
The following members voted against its adoption: Prone
whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution adopted.
