The Council then considered a preliminary report heretofore
prepared by Comstock Davis, Consulting Engineers, advising the
Council as to the feasibility and estimated cost of constructing water
supply and storage facilities, together with a system of trunk water
mains to serve the corporate limits of the Village of Mounds View.
After consideration of said report Member L� t introduced the
following resolution and moved its adoption:
Mounds View, Minnesota, as follows:
(1) That the preliminary report heretofor prepared by Comstock
Davis advising this Council as to the feasibility and est-
imated cost of constructing water supply and storage facilities and a
system of trunk water mains to serve the corporate limits of the Village
is hereby approved and ordered filed.
(2) Said improvement shall be hereafter designated as Waterworks
Improvement No. 1960 -1.
(3) This Council shall meet at the time and place specified in
the form of notice hereinafter contained for the purpose
pf conducting a preliminary public hearing on the proposed construction
Of R4terworks Improvement No. 1960 -1, and the Clerk is hereby authorized

OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,
meeting
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING
A PRELIMINARY HEARING ON THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF
WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENT NO. 1960 -1.
BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of
and directed to cause notice of said meeting to be given by publishin
notice of the same in the official newspaper of the Village at least
twice, which publications shall be one week apart with the last publica-
tion not later than three days prior to said hearing. Said notice shall
be in substantially the following form:

in ,cot Minnesota, o n d 1 1 /41, 1966, at .00 o'clock
P.M., for the purpose of conducting a preliminary public hearing on the
proposed construction of Waterworks Improvement Nn_ 1960 -1_. at Which
hearing the Council will hear objections to said improvement and take
such other action as may be require:;.
Said improvement consists of the construction of water supply and
storage facilities, together wi tit a system of trunk water mains, valves,
firs; hydrants and appurtenances tlereto in the streets, alleys and public
ways and at other locations to serve the entire corporate limits of the
Village as shown on a map now on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
The estimated cost of said improvement is G- GL ''z. The area
proposed to be assessed is each lot, piece and parcel of land within the
corporate limits of the Village.
All persons, firms or corporations whose land may be so assessed may,
at the above stated time and place, present oral or written objections
to aid improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member fV �.2 and upon a vote being taken,
the Following members voted in favor thereof: Crane, Hodges, Malvin,
Christensen Smith
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted,

the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have
carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a
meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on the date therein
indicated with the original of said minutes on file in my office, and
that said extract is a full, true and correct transcript of said minutes
insofar as they relate to approving the preliminary report and calling;
a preliminary hearing on the proposed construction of Waterworks
Improvement No. 1960 -1.
