THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Bpoc i al meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, was held at the Village Offices in the Village of Mounds View on March 28, 1960, at 11 :30 o'clock P.M., with the following members present: Crane, Smith, Hodges, Christensen Malvin and the following members Absent: None. Comstock and Davis, Consulting Engineers, then presented their preliminary report as to the feasibility and estimated cost of constructing Waterworks Improvement No. 1960 -2 and Waterworks Improve- ment No. 1960 -3, and recommended that said improvements be combined into one improvement, to be designated as Waterworks Improvement No. 1960 -2. After consideration of said preliminary report, Member Malvin introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND CALLING A HEARING ON WATERWORKS IMPROVE MENT NO- 1960 -2. BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of (1) That the preliminary engineering report heretofor submitted by Comstock and Davis advising this Council as to the feasibility and estimated cost of constructing Waterworks Improvement No. 1960 -2 and No. 1960 -3 is hereby approved and ordered filed, and that said improvements shall be and are hereby combined into one improvement to be referred to as Waterworks Improvement No. 1960 -2. (2) That this Council shall meet at the time and place specified in the form of notice hereinafter contained for the purpose of conducting a preliminary public hearing on said improvements and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said meeting to be given by publishing notice of the same in the official newspaper of the Village at least twice, which publications shall be one week apart with the last publication not later than three days prior to said hearing. Said notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY HEARING WATERWORKS IMPROVEMENT NO. 1960 -2 VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA APRIL 11, 1960 8 :00 P.M. The estimated cost of said improvement is $341,671. All persons, firms or corporations whose property may be so assessed may, at the above stated time and place, present written or oral objections to said improvement. BY ORDER OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Crane; and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following members voted in favor thereof: Crane, Smith, Christensen, Malvin Hodges and none voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
