A RESOLUTION CLASSIFYING CERTA..,J LANDS AS NONC0NSERVATION LAND.
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners or Ramsey 'ounty
by resolution dated August 8, 1960, classified as nonconservation
land certain parcels lying within the limits of the Village of
Mounds View; and
WHEREAS, A certified cop.; of the classification resolution
together with a list of the land classified has been submitted for
approval of tho classificiation and sale of the land classified in
accordance with M.S.A., Section 282.01, Subdivision 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the classification of the
land shown on said list as nonconservation land and the sale thereof
be and hereby is approved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the Village Clerk be and hereby
is directed to file a certified copy of tnis resolution in the Office of
the County Auditor.

WHINSAS, this community is faced with an acute and critical problem of
sewage disposal; and

A RESOLUTION OPP0SING THE EXPANSION OF THE ANOKA COUNTY AIRPORT.
The Village Council of the Village of Mounds View at its regular
meeting held at the Village Hall on the 13th day of February 1961 at
8:00 o'clock p.m. approved unanimously the following resolution.
Moved by Councilman Christensen and seconded by Councilman Hodges as
follows:
WHEREAS it has come to the attention of the residents of thia village anr°
of the members of the Village Council that the Metropolitan Airports
Commission intends to expand the facilities of the Anoka County Airport,
WHEREAS, said facilities would be expanded to facilitate the handling of
large commercial aircraft, and
WHEREAS, it is felt by the residents and Village Council of this
Village that such expansion would create a dangerous situation to the
occupants of the village, and would be in fact a nuisance to the residents,
and would in no way benefit the properties of the village,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the Village Council stands unanimously
opposed to the expansion of the Anoka County Airport on the grounds that it
would create a dangerous situation, would in fact be a nuisance, and in no
way benefit the occupants and properties of the village and
BE IT RESOLVED That the Metropolitan Airports Commission cease and desi =t
from the expansion of said airport aad instead seek new sites away from
populated areas for its proposal.
