Sewer District.
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE NORTH SUBURBAN
SEWER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, The Legislature of the State of Minnesota has
passed and adopted in amended form in both the House of Representatives and
the Senate certain enabling legislation commonly called the North Suburban
Act, and
WHEREAS, Such Legislation nevertheless empowers the City
of Fridley and City of Coon Rapids, and the villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine,
Mounds View, and Spring Lake Park, to form for thet.r use a sewer district
within the area comprising their municipalities, and
WHEREAS, There is an urgent need to form a sewer district
within such area to provide the essential services of sewerage collection,
treatment and disposal to each of such municipalities and the inhabitants
thereof, and
WHEREAS, Section 4 of such act provides that proceedings for
the establishment of a district under the act are initiated by a resoltuion of
the governing body of one or more of the affected municipalities,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
1. That the City of _ridley and City of Coon Rapids, and the
villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View, and Spring Lake Park shall create
a sanitary sewer district.
2. The name of the district shall be the North Suburban Sanitary
3. The district shal.. include the entire city of Coon Rapids,
and the Villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, and
that part of the City of Fridley to he designated by the city engineer in a
subsequent resolution.
4. That there is an urgent need to form a sewer district within

0 7. That upon the receipt of the resolution by the City of
such area to provide the es:•ential services of sewerage collection, treatment and
disposal to each of such municipalities and the inhabitants thereof.
5. That the Village of Mounds View pursuant to the enabling
legislation referred to above hereby agrees to become a part of the North
Suburban Sanitary Sewer District.
6. That a certified copy of this resolution shall be forwarded
to the City of Fridley relative to their resolution No. 71 -1961 dated the 6th
day of June, 1961 and certified copies shall also be forwarded to the governing
bodies of the City of Coon Rapids, and the Villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine,
and Spring Lake Park.
Fridley and the forwarding of similiar resolutions to the City of Fridley by
the above named municipalities a notice shall be published in the legal newspaper
for each governmental subdivision enumerated above.
Passed and adopted by the Village Council of the Village of
Mounds View this -c of Juno 1961.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk
of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing resolution with the original minutes thereof
on file in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript
thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution relating to the North
Suburban Sewer District.
