VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION OF APPROVAL RELATING TO THE NORTH
SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT.
WHEREAS there is now enacted by the Legislature of the State
of Minnesota a certain Special Law which is to be known and cited as the
"NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT" and which has been
designated as LAWS 1961 EXTRA SESSION, Chapter 90, and,
WHEREAS by the terms and provisions of said Act in Sec. 9,
Subd. 1 thereof the Act takes effect "when approved by a majority of the
governing body of at least four of the following municipalities: the
villages of Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View, Spring Lake Park, and
the cities of Coon Rapids and Fridley, and upon compliance with LAWS
1959, Chapter 368 and,
WHEREAS the Village of Mounds View, as one of the municipalities
affected thereby desires to approve such law and obtain the benefit thereof,
together with each of the other municipalities so named and affected,
and approve the same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Council of the Village of
Mounds View:
Section 1: That the Village of Mounds View, acting by and through
a majority of its governing body, and as one of the municipalities
affected thereby, does hereby approve on its part that certain Special Law
of LAWS 1961 EXTRA SESSION, Chapter 90, to be known and cited as the
"NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT and does further request
the approval of such Special Law by a majority cf the governing body of
each of the other municipalities named therein and similarly affected.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is authorized and airected to
furnish a copy of this resolution to the chief clerical officer of each cf
the other municipalities, and further, to file with the Secretary of State
of the State of Minnesota a certificate in form prescribed by the
Attorney General and furnished by the Secretary of State, stating the
essential facts necessary to valid approval, including a copy of this
resolution of approval; and to do each and every other act and thing as
may be necessary and required by law to make such Special Law valid and
effective in so far as it relates to the Village of Mounds View.
Passed and adopted by the Village Council of the Village of
