Minnesota was held at the Tillage Hall in said Village on the 25th
day of SeatPmber 19_1jat on o'clock p.m.
with the following members present: Crane, Blanchard, Malvin, Hodges and
Christensen
and the following members absent: None
Member Blanchard introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
EXTRACT OF EINUTES OF ':SING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEa Y.INNESOTA
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ATTORNEY TO
PROCEED WITH CONDEMNATION PROCFr'.DI OS 1961 -1. I'
WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable and in the public interest
that the Village of Mounds Vi av construct a water main
AND WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such purpose it is necessary
to acquire The East 15 feet of the North 250 feet of Lot 60, Auditor's
Subdivision No. 89, Ramsey County, Minnesota, Section 6, Township 30, Range
AND WHEREAS, the Village is advised and believes that the most
feasible location for such water main
is on the land above described;
AND WHEREAS, it has become necessary to procure title to such
real estate by right of eminent domain;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Village of Mounds View
proceed to procure title to said real estate under its right of
eminent domain and that the Village Attorney be and he hereby is directed
to file the

necessary petition therefor and to, prosecute such action to a successful
conclusion or until it is abandoned, dismissed or terminated by the
village or by the court; that the village attorney, the mayor and the
c1 rk all t::?.r:zs necessu y to be done in the commencement, prosecution
and su„nessftl termination of such action
The motion for he adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by Member Malvin and upon a vote being taken,
the following members voted in favor thereof: Crane, Malvin, Hodges, Christensen
and Blanchard
and the following members voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk
of the Village of Mounds View Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I
have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of
a meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on the date therein
indicated with the original minutes thereof on file in my office and that
the same is a full, true and correct transcript thereof insofar as said
minutes relate to a resolution directing the village attorney to proceed
with condemnation proceedings 1961 -1.
