Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village
Hall in said Village on the 28th day of May 1962 at 8:00 p.m. with the following
members present: Crane, Blanchard, Hodges, Malvin, and Sullivan
and the following members absent:
EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL CF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEN, MINNESOTA
Member Blanchard introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoptions
106 A RESOLUTION ACIDIFYING ASSESSMENTS FOR AREA WATER, LATERAL
WATER, WATER SERVICE, AND WATER MAIN 60 -3.
WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that certain assessments
are to be modified or divided,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following list of
modifications, corrections, and divisions, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special
assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein
included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the
amount of the assessment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments
extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be
payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and shall bear interest
at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the
entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1961. To
each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all
unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior
to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the whole of the
assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to
the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the
ontire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution;
and he may at any time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer the entire amount
of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the
year in which such payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
modification and division to the county auditor to be extended on the proper tax
list of the county, and such assessments shall b.: collected and paid over in the
same manner as other municipal taxes.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Malvin and upon a vote being taken, the following
members voted in favor thereof: Crane, Blanchard, Hodges, Malvin and
Sullivan
and the following members voted against the same:
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, IA HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully
compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the
Village Council of said Village held on the date therein indicated with the
original minutes thereof on file in my office and that the same is a full, true
and correct transcript thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution

Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the
Village Hall in said Village on the 25th day of June 1962 at 8:00 p.m.
with the following members present: Crane, Blanchard, Hodges, hAalvin
and Sullivan
and the following members absent:
Member Blanchard introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
106A A RESOLUTION ABATING CERTAIN WATER ASSESSMENTS ON
PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIE4
WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that the following
assessments for watermain improvements have been levied against the
following described property in the Village of Mounds View and such
assessment should be abated as follows:

of this resolution to the County Auditor for abatement.
