HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 0124 p and the following members absent: 124 EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of e Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village Hall in said Village on the 13th day of May, 1963 at b :00 p.m. with the following members present: Crane, Blanchard, Sullivan, Malviip, Hodges Member Sullivan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that Parcel No. 07005 described as N 223 ft of S 2025 ft of W 264 ft of NE 1/4 Subj. to Rd; tI N 15 ft of S 1940 ft of E 264 ft of W 528 ft of sd NE 1/2 of Sec. 6, T 30, R 23 was inadvertently not assessed $46.65 for MA 41 assessment, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that Division 31729 the amount of $3,622.45 and Parcel (2) shouts have no MA 34 assessment was incorrectly accredited and Parcel (1) should have a M% 34 assessment in NOW, THEREFORE, HZ IT RESOLVED, that Parcel No. 07005 be assessed in the amount of $46.65 and Parcel (1) of Division 31729 be assessed for MA #34 in the total amount of $3,622.45. 2. Such assessments shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be payable on or after the first Monday of January, 1963 and shall bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on fete entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1963. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest iur o.e year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the village treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay to the County Treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Blanchard and upon a vote being taken, the following members voted in favor thereof: Blanchard, Crane, Hodges, Malvin, Sullivan and the following members voted against the same: whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted. VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified Clerk of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on the date therein indicates with the original minutes thereof on file in my office and that the same is a full,true and correct transcript thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution correcting assessments.
