Pursuant :o due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was held at the Village Hall in
said Village on the 24th day of June, 1963 at b :00 o'clock p.m. with the
following members present: Crane, Hodges, Malvin
and the following members absent:
EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA

Member Crane introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
130 A 1U SOLUTION MODIFYIND ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that certain assessments are to
be modified or divided,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the following list of modifications
and divisions, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is
hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands
named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be
benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied
against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments
extending over a period of fifteen years, the first of the installments to be
payable on or after the first Monday in January, 1961 and shall bear interest'
at the rate of 6 per cent per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on
the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until December 31,
1961. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one
year on all unpaid installments.
3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to
certification of the assessment to the country auditor, pay the whole of the
assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date of payment,
to the Village Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire
assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he
may at any time thereafter, pay to the country treasurer the entire amount of the
assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accured to December 31 of the year in
which such payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this
modification and division to the county auditor to be extended on the proper
tax list of the county, and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in

the same manner as other municipal taxes.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by Member i:falvin and upon a vote being taken, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Crane, Hodges, Malvin
and the following members voted against the same:
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I have carefully compared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village
held on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof on file in
my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript thereof insofar
as said minutes relate to a resolution modifying assessments.

EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF "MEETING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was hold at the
Village Hall in said Village on the 22nd day of July, 19 &2 at 8 :00 p.m. with
the following members present: Crane, Hodges, Sullivan, Blanchard
and the following members absent:

introduced the following resolution and
A r.'SOLUTION ABATING CERTAIN WATER ASSESSMENTS ON
PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW.
WHEREAS, The Village Council has determined that the following
assessments for Watermain Improvement 1960 -3 have been levied against the
following described property in the Village of Mounds View and such
assessment should be abated as follows:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the above described assessment
be abated in the total amount of $544.44.
The Village Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate
of this resolution to the County Auditor forabatement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Member Sullivan
and the following members voted against the same:
Lot 1, Block 4, Laporte Meadows to be abated in the total
amount of $544.44 representing an assessment plus interest
in the amount of $69.56, an assessment plus interest in the
amount of $58.88 and future assessment in the total amount
of $416.00,
and upon a vote being taken the following
members voted in favor thereof: Sullivan, Crane, Blanchard, Hodges
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

true and correct transcript thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a
resolution abating certain water assessments on properties located in the
Village of Mounds View.
