VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSRY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION PARTIALLY ABATING CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS
ON LANDS LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW.
At a regular meeting held on the9th day of March ,1964
the Council of the Village of Mounds View resolved as follows:
WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View for Waterworks Improvement
1960 -•1 said improvement consisting of the construction of water supply and storage
facilities, together with a system of trunk water mains, valves, fire hydrants,
service lines and appurtenances thereto in the streets, alleys and public ways
within the corporate limits of the Village of Mounds View, and Waterworks
Improvement 1960 -2, consisting of the installation of water mains, service lines,
valves, hydrants and appurtenances thereto; and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied by said Village Council
to defray in part the cost of the above described improvements, which said
assessments were confirmed by said Council of said Village of Mounds View on the
12th day of September 1960, and
WHEREAS, Cecilia E. Moga, Josephine Moga, Lucya Moga and John
Moga were the owners in fee of the following described real estate, situated and
being in the Village of Mounds View, Ramsey County, State of Minnesota, to -wit:
NW* of NE* of Section 17, T. 30, R. 23, and
Ex E 516 12/100 ft part of NE} of NE* NEly of L run SEly

CL of STH 10/62 th SEly to pt 516 12 /100 ft W of and 245 ft
mol 3 of E and N is of Section 17, T. 30, R. 23, and
Part of NE* of NE* Wly of 1 run SEly 425 It mol from N sec
1 and par with and 75 ft SWly from cl of STH 10/62 th SEly
to pt 495 ft N of and 516 12/100 ft W of S and E is of sd
th 3 495 ft par with E 1 of Section 17, T. 30, R23
WHEREAS, Cecilia E. Moga, Josephine Moga, Lucya Moga and John Yoga
objected to and appealed from such assessments, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View and
Cecilia E. Moga, Josephine Moga, Lucya Moga and John Moga have negotiated and
agreed to compromise the assessment so levied in the following manner,
Council Member Blanchard moved the following resolution:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village
of Mounds View that the above described assessments, are hereby abated by this
Village Council and the County Auditor is directed to make the following adjustments
on his records.
For Waterworks Improvement 1960 -1 there remains as of the 27th day
of February, 1964 on the NO of NS} of Section 17, T. 30, R. 23 the outstanding
balance of said assessment in the amount of $3,793.68, and from this amount as
a result of the negotiations and compromise settlement that from the above amount
the sum of $800.00 should be fully abated leaving the balance of the above described
assessment in the amount of $2,993.68 and the County Auditor is to adjust his
records accordingly.

following vote was taken:
those voting in favor of the resolution: Donald Hodges, Lloyd Blanchard,
John L. Sullivan, Ingram Rustad, Charles LaVaque
those voting against the resolution:

attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of
said Village held on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof
on file in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct transcript
thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution partially abating certain
assessments on lands located within the Village of Mounds View.
