HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 0161WHEREAS, this municipality is included within the North Suburban Hospital
District, a district organized and existing pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections
447.31 to 447.37, inclusive, and including the areas of the City of Fridley and the
Villages of Blaine, Hilltop, Lexington, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, and
WHEREAS, by Laws 1963, Chapter 300 the Legislature of the State of Minne-
sota has authorized the detachment of any city or village from the district by the
procedure provided for dissolution or for organization of the district, which pro-
cedure requires approval by resolution of the governing body of each of the munici-
palities comprising the District, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Lexington has by resolution re-
quested that the area of said Village be detached from the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Vill aged¢ Mounds
View Minnesota, that the detachment of the Village of Lexington from the
North Suburban Hospital District, pursuant to the provisions of Laws 1963, Chapter
300, is approved by the Villageof Mounds View

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Mounds View Minnesota, hereby certify that the attached and forego-
ing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly adopted by the Council of
saidVi llage at a meeting thereof duly called and held on May 11 1964,
a quorum being present at said meeting; and that upon vote being taken upon the adop-
tion of said resolution, the resolution was approved by the vote of 5 members
of the Council, with 0 members voting against the same.
