EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING
OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Min-
nesota, was held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday
September 7 19 65, at 7:00 o'clock P .M., with the fol-
lowing members present: Mayor Hodges, Clerk Blanchard and Councilmen
LaVaque and Rusted
and the following members absent: Councilman Malvin
The Clerk announced that assessments for Sanitary
Sewer Improvements had been prepared. After consideration of
said assessments, Member Blanchard introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY
SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING A HEARING THEREON.
BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village
of Mounds View, Minnesota, as follows:
(1) The special assessments heretofore prepared by the
Clerk for Sanitary Sewer Improvements are hereby
given preliminary approval and ordered filed in the office of the
Village Clerk; and,
(2) This Council shall meet at the time and place speci-
fied in the form of notice hereinafter contained for
the purpose of conducting a public hearing on said assessments, and
the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said
meeting to be mailed to the owners of the property to be assessed
and to cause the following notice to be published in the official
newspaper of the Village at least once, not later than two weeks
prior to said meeting, which notice shall be in substantially the
following form:

NOTICE OF ASSESSMENT HEARING
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Village Council of the
Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, will meet at the Edgewood School
Auditorium at 5100 Edgewood Drive, in said Village on Tuesday, Septem-
ber 28, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock P,M., for the purpose of conducting a
public hearing on the assessments proposed to be made against pro-
perty benefited by Sanitary Sewer Improvements. Said improvement
consists of the following work:
Installation of sanitary and storm sewer and
street resurfacing including trunks, laterals,
lift stations, and maintenance facilities pro-
viding sewer service to the properties in the
area proposed to be assessed which is described
below.
The area proposed to be assessed for special benefit
derived from said improvement is every lot, piece and parcel in the
Village limits except the area described as C -1 and C -2 as follows:
All of the Village of Mounds View in Section 6,
Township 30, Range 23, lying southerly and westerly
of State Trunk Highway No. 10 and all of the lands
and area in Section 7, Township 30, Range 23, in
the Village of Mounds View lying westerly of the
following described line:
Commencing at the intersection of County Road I
and Groveland Road, thence south on Groveland
Road to its intersection with Bronson Drive,
thence west on Bronson Drive to its intersection
with Knollwood Drive, thence south on Knollwood
Drive to its intersection with Woodale Drive,
thence west on Woodale Drive to its intersection
with Pleasant View Drive, thence south on
Pleasant View Drive to the south property line
extended of lot 60 Knollwood Park, thence westerly
along the south property line of lot 60 extended
and the south property line of said lot 60 to the
west line of said Section 7.
The roll of assessments is now on file in the office of the Village
Clerk.
All persons whose property might be so assessed may,
at the above stated time and place, present oral or written objections
to said assessments

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Member LaVaque and upon a vote being
taken, the following members voted ii, favor thereof: Hodges, Blnchard
LaVaque and Rustad
and the following voted against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting Clerk
of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY That I
have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes
of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on the
date therein indicated with the original of said minutes on file
in my office and that said extract is a full, true and correct
transcript of said minutes insofar as said minutes relate to approv-
ing the assessments for Improvements of Sanitary Sewer and calling a
hearing thereon.
WITNESS My hand officially and the official seal of the
Village this 7th day of September 1965.
