VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
COUNTY OF RAMSEY
STATE OF MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTAIN SNOW FENCE EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, a 30 foot snow fence`asement dated July 8, 1957 was
recorded with the Ramsey County Register of Deeds office on the 24th day of
December, 1957, Document #1445109 for Mounds View Township, and
WHEREAS, said snow fence easements are no longer required by the
Village of Mounds View, the successor to Mounds View Township,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that that certain 30 foot snow fence
easement dated July 8, 1957 and recorded with the Ramsey County Register of Deeds
office on the 24th day of December 1957, Document #1445109 for Mounds View
Township on the following described property is hereby relinquished and released:
1st day of July, 1965.
The Easterly Sixty (60) Feet of the Westerly Three hundred
Sixty (360) feet of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 8,
Township 30, Range 23, except for the South Two Hundred
Sixty -Four (264) feet of the North Four Hundred Ninety
(490) feet of the West Three Hundred Thirty (330) feet.

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the
of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, was held at the Edgewood
School Auditorium in said Village on Tuesday, September 28, 1965, at 8:00 o'cl■ck P.M.
with the following member present: Hodges, Blanchard, Rustad, Malvin and LaVaque
and the following members absent: None
The Clerk presented affidavits of publication of the notice of hearing
called to be held on special assessments proposed to be levied for special benefit
derived from the construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvements. Said affidavits were
examined, approved and ordered filed.
The Mayor then announced that the meeting was open for the purpose
after said assessments
were thoroughly explained and after all persons present were afforded an opportunity

The Mayor then announced that the meeting would be recessed until
8 :00 o'clock P.M. October 4, 1965 at the Village Hall. The meeting was reconvened
on October 4, 1965 at the Mounds View Village Hall. Member Malvin then introduced
the following resolution and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, following the recess of the meeting held on September 28,
1965, the Council as a whole has viewed all of the properties where objections were
raised verbally or in writing. All objections were reviewed by the Village staff
and Council members, mathematical corrections were made, on other objections relative
to the area formula and front foot computations were considered.
The amendments resulting from such considerations have now been
recorded on the assessment roll which is identified as Mounds View Hearing List,
Sanitary Sewer No. 47, September 20, 1965, Copy No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village
of Mounds View, Minnesota as follows:
(1) The special assessments as amended for Sanitary Sewer Improvements
are hereby adopted, and it is hereby found and determined that each lot, piece and parcel
of property so assessed is benefited in the amounts of the respective assessments levied
against it.
(2) Said assessments may be paid in cash, without interest, if paid
within thirty (30) days from the date hereof, or may be paid in thirty (30) equal,
annual installments in the same time and manner as the payment of real estate taxes
with interest at the rate of six per cent (6 per annum from the date hereof to
December 31 of the year in which the first payment is payable to be added to the first
installment, and one year's interest on the remaining balance to be added to each
subsequent installment; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, That any property owner may pay the entire
unpaid balance of the assessment against his property at any time with interest to
December 31 of the year in which said payment is made.
(3) The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to certify a copy
of the assessments and a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Ramsey County
to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County for collection with other real
estate taxes in and for the Village.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
and upon a vote being taken, the following members
voted in favor thereof: Malvin, Blanchard, Rusted and LaVaque (Mayor Hodges not present
at the reconvened meeting held on October 4, 1965)
and the following members voted against the same:

OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View,
Minnesota, was held at the Edgewood School Auditorium in said
Village on Tuesddy, September 28, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. with
the following members present: Hodges, Elanchard, Rustad, Malvin
and LaVaque and the following members absent: None.
The Clerk presented affidavits of publication of the
notice of hearing called to be held on special assessments proposed
to be levied for special benefit derived from the construction
of Sanitary Sewer Improvements. Said affidavits were examined,
approved and ordered filed.
The Mayor then announced that the meeting was open for the
purpose of conducting the hearing on said proposed assessments;
and after said assessments were thoroughly explained and after all

The Mayor then announced that the meeting would be re-
cessed until 8:00 p.m. October 4, 1965 at the Village Hall. The
meeting was reconvened on October 4, 1965 at the Mounds View Village
Hall Member Malvin then introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY
SETTER I!PROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, following the recess of the meeting held on
September 28, 1965, the Council as a whole has viewed all of the
properties where objections were raised verbally or in writing.
All objections were reviewed by the Village staff and Council mem-
bers, mathematical corrections were made, on other objections
relative to the area formula and front foot computations were consi-
dered.
The amendments resulting from such considerations have
now been recorded on the assessment roll which is identified as
Mounds View Hearing List, Sanitary Sewer No. 47, September 20, 1965
Copy No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of
the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota as follows:
(1) The special assessments as amended for Sanitary
Sewer Improvements are hereby adopted, and it is hereby found and
determined that each lot, piece and parcel of property so assessed
is benefited in the amounts of the respective assessments levied
against it.
(2) Said assessments may be paid in cash, without
interest, if paid within thirty (30) days from the date hereof, or
may be paid in thirty (30) equal annual installments in the same
time and manner as the payment of real estate taxes with interest
at the rate of six per cent (6 per annum from the date hereof to
December 31 of the year in w'iich the first payment is payable to be
added to the first subsequent installment; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that
any property owner may pay the entire unpaid balance of the assess-
ment against his property at any time with interest to December 31
of the year in which said payment is made.
(s) The Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
certify a copy of the assessments and a copy of this resolution to
the County Auditor of Rdulsey County to be extended on the proper
tax lists of the County for collection with other real estate
taxes in and for the Village.
The motion fot the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by member Blanchard; and upon a vote being taken
the following members voted in favor thereof: Malvin, Blanchard,
Rusted and taVaque (Mayor Hodges not present at the reconvened
meeting held on October 4, 1965) and the following members voted
against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.
