Seconded by Malvin. 3 ayes The abandoned basements on Lois and Knoll were discussed. These basements were to be filled within six months. Clerks of- fice to notify affected property owners. Mr. E. E. Gustafson submitted a request for rezoning Lots 1, 2 and 30 Greenfield Addition from R1A to B -3. Motion Ly Malvin that a public hearing be set for November 22, 1965 at 9 :30 p.m. on the above matter. Seconded by Rustad. 3 ayes No further business at this time so the meeting will be recessed to 9:00 p.m. Richard Meyers, Attorney, submitted the following Resolutions and Ordinances. Motion by LaVaque to adopt Resolution '220 an agree- ment for reimbursing Minnesota Highway Departme r labor and equipment furnished during the Civil Defense Emergency resulting from storm of May 6, 1965. Seconded by Malvin. 3 ayes Motion by LaVaque to adopt Resolution bating taxes and assessments on Lake Side Park, Audito r .division No. 89, subject to flowage easement and ex. east of L. 20. Motion by Malvin to direct the Attorney to acquire the following easements: 31, 3A, 134R, 129, 130, 137, 62 150 and the Tollcfson Easement #2554. Seconded by LaVaque. 3� ayes Motion by LaVaque to adopt Resolution 222 eappor- tionment of assessments for Water Project 1960 on Knollwood Park, Lot 111. Division #35621. Seconded by Malvin. 3 ayes 412/ It was the decision of the Village Clerk to close the office on Veterans Day, November 11, 1965. Acting Mayor Rusted opened the public hearing on water project extension from Groveland Road east on Highway 10 to approximately 800 feet. The Deputy Clerk read the legal notice and attested to the printing and mailing of same. The Acting Mayor asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or against the project. No one present made any statement. The Hearing wnn closed at 9:05 p.m. The decision will he made at the next council meeting.
