OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA

Pursuant to due call ant. notice thereof, a special meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota was
held at the Village Hall in said Village on the 18th day of July,
1966 at 6:30 o'clock P.M. with the following members present: Ingram
Rustad, Lloyd J. Blanchard, Perry L. Malvin, Gary Lange,and the
following members absent: Richard Johnson.
Member Rustad introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ATTORNEY TO
PROCEED WITH CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS.
WHEREAS, it is necessary, advisable and in the public
interest that the Village of Mounds View construct a highway, sanitary
sewer, storm sewer, and surface water drainage system throughout
the Village, and
WHEREAS, in order to accomplish such purpose it is
necessary to acquire the fee simple absolute, a perpetual easement,
0 or a temporary construction easement as set out in Exhibit 1 attached
hereto, and
WHEREAS, the Village is advised and believes that the
most feasible location for such highway, sanitary sewer, storm sewer,
or surface water drainage system is on the lands set out in said
Exhibit 1, and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to procure the fee
simple absolute, or a perpetual easement, or a temporary construction
easement by right of eminent domain;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the Village of
Mounds View proceed to procure the fee simple absolute, a perpetual
easement, or a temporary construction easement as hereinafter set
out to said properties under its right of eminent domain and that
the Village Attorney, Richard Meyers, be and he hereby is directed
to file in the commencement, prosecution and successful termination
of such action. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing
resolution was duly seconded by Member Lange, and upon a vote being
taken, the following members voted in favor thereof: Rusted, Blanchard,
Malvin and Lange, and the following members voted against the same:
None, whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted.

Clerk of the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, DO HEREBY CERTIFY
That I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract
of minutes of a meeting of the Village Council of said Village held
on the date therein indicated with the original minutes thereof on
file in my office and that the same is a full, true and correct
transcript thereof insofar as said minutes relate to a resolution
directing the Village Attorney to proceed with condemnation proceedings.
