A RESOLUTION RELATIVE TO SPEED ZONING ON SILVER LAZE ROAD AND
COUNTY ROAD H IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW.
At a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Mounds
View held on the 22nd day of May, 1967, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M., Member .a l
moved as follows:
WHEREAS, the Village Councils of the Villages of Mounds View and
New Brighton have requested the County of Ramsey to re- examine the existing
speed limits and controls on Silver Lake Road and County Road H, and
WHEREAS, the Mounds View Village Council is of the opinion that the
present speed limits and controls are not reasonable or safe, and
WHEREAS, Silver Lake Road and County Road H are county roads located
in Ramsey County,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View Village Council that
Ramsey County request the Highway Commissioner to commence an engineering and
traffic investigation study of Silver Lake Road and County Road H, and that lower
and safer speed limits and appropriate traffic controls and warning signs be
authorized on said county roads.

those absent: Trustee Richard Johnson
whereupon the Mayor declared the resolution to be duly adopted this
22 day of May, 1967.
